According to prophecies recorded in Daniel 9:7,8, the Old Roman Empire will be re-instituted in the Last Days and become the headquarters of a New World Empire under the control of a world ruler the Bible calls “the anti-Christ.” This man will exercise a dictatorial and brutal rule over the entire world for the space of seven years. The present-day European Union is the most likely organizaion to be the vehicle of this international Empire. Where does the U.S. fit in?
